About

Daniel is an Associate in our Litigation/Arbitration and Energy/Natural Resources Practice Groups. He provides legal representation to clients in the resolution of disputes bordering on oil spill, labour/employment relations, taxation, banking, and intellectual property.

He obtained his LL.B from the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, where he graduated with a First Class Degree, and was subsequently admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2021.

Notable achievements

• Member of the team defending several multi-national oil companies in oil spill claims worth millions of Naira.
• Member of the team that successfully represented a telecommunications company in a claim bordering on a demand for payment of taxes for the registration of business premises by the Rivers State government.
• Member of the team that advised several clients on their employment relationships.
• Member of the team that advised on the registration of patents and other intellectual property rights.
